I think we can all agree that the presentation by Dave and Angie Tucker last week was top class. An amazing range of photographic interests represented by many excellent images. What you may not know is that the fee that they charged was much less than the average speaker. Generous with their time and advice.
Before that, Dave and Jenny got our Nature Group online. If I remember correctly, about 35 people tuned in for this – a record for an early session. Well done for sharing your time and advice with us, with many excellent tips and top advice for getting good nature images.
We have another early session this week – Beks will be doing the next part of the Roger Lewis Foundation Course at 7-00 pm, closely followed by our first Print competition at 8-00 pm – judged by Van greaves. We have had a good entry for this considered the difficult and challenging times that we are all facing at the minute. Good luck to everyone who has entered.
As you are all aware, we go back into lockdown this week. It just serves to reinforce that our cautious approach to our club meetings is the right thing to do. We would love to get back to our normal meetings at Avoncroft on a Tuesday, but sadly, this won’t be happening in the near future. All the more reason to tune in on Zoom on a Tuesday evening to enjoy some excellent photographic entertainment.
