Hi all
Last Tuesday’smeeting was certainly a treat for us all, with Peter Young giving us an insight into the selection process for the Welsh International Salon 2021. We had a chance to see many top class images accompanied by Peter’s unique and humorous overview of the judging process.
This week we have our next Model Night. This will feature a wood whittler called Chris. We also have some volunteer models, so there should be plenty of variety on the night. Remember to bring your camera. Due to the nature of this meeting, there will be no early session this week, nor is it suitable for Zoom transmission.
Tuesday will also be the deadline for entries to our 2nd Print Competition – Colour and Mono. The judge will be Peter Siviter DPAGB EFIAP.
Looking further ahead, we will be holding our New Year Party on 4th January at Avoncroft Arts Centre. This is always a very popular night and will feature our usual quiz, a raffle for top prizes including Amazon vouchers, and a buffet. The buffet will cater for the usual range of dietary requirements.
It is open to members, family and friends and we need to get an idea as to how many people will be attending. A list will be available at the signing-in table starting from this Tuesday, so please indicate how many will be attending and also any dietary requirements. The ticket cost will be £8 per head. It’s time to let our hair down again.
