Dear All,
Well what a start to the new season-over 40 people in the hall , many new faces and lots of information and activities, some nice feedback and some new members joining .So a definite kick start to 2022-23.
There was a lot of information given out on the night , the BPS calendars were on sale and will continue to be every Tuesday night . Do have a look at them on a club night .
A big change is the fact we won’t be in a position to Zoom every meeting , competition or the early class on a regular basis .
We will be having some Zoom speakers broadcast in the hall to widen our choices and enable us to bring you presentations from across the globe . This is exciting and I certainly am looking forward to some entertaining evenings .
Look out for the email that has been sent about the revamped critique group and live critiques planned for you , and already has some take up – keep it coming ..
Do pop in to the library to see the excellent display of members’ pictures.
Entry is now open for the first PDI competition ,as per the email from Nick .
We kick off next week with 7pm- introduction for Beginners
8pm – Glyn Edmonds – Wildlife and Work of the Ol Pejeta Conservancy -this promises to be an excellent talk and comes highly recommended .
I also pleased to welcome Sarah Broomfield and Ian Bowes on to the Committee , so we move forward with a full and active team .
