Well a mixed bag this week , definitely the right decision to cancel the Barbeque , I even had you an ice cream van booked -how cool would that have been ?
It was a wet and chilly evening for sure .
However quite a few members went to Hartpury and had a super day watching the cross country with just one shower .
This afternoon Churchill Mill and Forge is open and I will be meeting others at 2pm with my camera in a waterproof bag .It is a fascinating place
The Forge can be found a short distance along a drive off Churchill Lane. The turning is about 400 meters after Churchill church when coming from the direction of Blakedown, shortly before the junction with Stakenbridge Lane. The entrance is clearly signposted on open days.
The nearest railway station is at Blakedown (approximately one mile away) from which trains run regularly to Stourbridge and Birmingham and to Kidderminster and Worcester.
The Forge can be found on Ordnance Survey Maps at grid reference: SO882795.
Visitors arriving by car should note that there is no parking space available along the drive to the Forge. Parking off Churchill Lane opposite to the drive is available and will be signposted on open days.
There are steep steps there as well so access is limited .
This coming Saturday is the High St event ,I have popped the rota below ,but do try to wander along anyway and say hi to us all.
Please get prints to David for display purposes .
25th August is trip to Birmingham for some street photography meet at Worcester Foregate St at 9.20 to catch 9.24 to Birmingham .

Tony will then take us through Birmingham to get the sights and sounds of the city .Stay as long as you wish .
29th is Dine India
Still time for me to add you in .
