Last week’s trip to Worcester old cemetery was very well attended – by photographers at least, if not by wildlife, which seemed a little scarce. However, I did get to see a fox, a spider eating a bee, and some very delicious blackberries. Those who went equipped for non-wildlife shots got some great photos of gravestones and the like, and everyone had a most sociable time. Thanks to Beks and Andrew for taking the lead on this one.

There’s a change to the published programme this week – the canal walk that was originally scheduled for Tuesday 30th has been rearranged for Thursday August 8th, and Beks has kindly offered to have another go at Trench Wood (weather permitting) on Tuesday 30th instead. See details from her nearer the time.

There is also a change of venue for the trip planned on Saturday, August 3rd – rather than Cannock Chase David has decided that Chasewater will make a more generally appealing venue. See his recent email for details.

The upcoming Chinese meal at Evesham is booking up – contact Dave Ward if you want to go.

I look forward to seeing some of you at one (or more) of these upcoming events.

Richard
