It’s been another busy week for BPS members on the summer programme, with a trip to Trench Wood last Tuesday and a trip to Chasewater yesterday. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to go to Trench Wood, but I am told it was well attended. There were 8 or 9 of us at Chasewater, and I think everyone enjoyed it – I certainly did, even if the deer proved a bit too skittish to get any photographs of them.

Thanks to Beks and David for organising these two trips.

This coming week is also busy, with the Chinese meal at Evesham on the 6th and the rearranged canal walk in Stourbridge on Thursday 8th. Hopefully everyone intending to go to the Chinese meal has already contacted Dave Ward by now to book their place. Ele has sent details of the plans for Thursday.

Looking further ahead, next week is the BBQ at Avoncroft Arts Centre – starting at 6:30, weather permitting. Remember to bring whatever you want to cook – we will provide the grills. It’s also time to start thinking about the stand in Bromsgrove Market on Saturday August 31st – we’ll be looking for a few volunteers to spend an hour or two each manning the stand, as well as help to set up and tear down. Please let me know if you want to volunteer for this.
