Last week’s PDI competition showed yet again the depth of talent we have at the club, with some fantastic images and a range of winners. Peter Gennard’s comments and critiques were spot on, as usual, and we even managed to finish on time!
This coming Tuesday we have a real treat with the return of adventure photographer Lucinda Grange – her visit a few years ago was considered by many to be one of the highlights of that season, and we can expect some fantastic new images again this time.
Before that, we have another treat with an early session from Ele, about how to add keylines, signatures, copyright and other useful stuff to your photos. Not to be missed!
Finally, looking ahead to the week after, we will have a visit from professional photographer John Duder demonstrating studio lighting techniques. As Colin mentioned, we hope to be able to tether his camera to show live on the projector what he is seeing on screen, and to that end, I was hoping that someone with a similar camera to his (I believe it is a Sony A7R4) might bring it along this week so I can test out the tethering setup ahead of time.
That’s it for now
