Our new Website Privacy Policy is driven by the introduction of The Data Protection Act 2018 incorporating the EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). This replaces our previous Privacy Policy which was last updated on 22nd December 2014.
Bromsgrove Photographic Society is committed to protecting your privacy. Please read this Privacy Policy to understand how we use and protect the information that you provide to us when using our website, contacting us or using the Society’s facilities. Whenever you give us your contact information including your email address you consent to the collection, use and transfer of your information under the terms of our Privacy Policy.
We do not ask for any payment details to be entered on our website nor emailed to us. Any and all payment to Bromsgrove Photographic Society must be made to the Treasurer or Secretary by post or in person or an authorised bank transfer to the Society’s account initiated by you.
Information we collect from you and how we use it
When you visit our website to make an enquiry, you may be asked to provide certain information about yourself. This may include (but is not limited to) your name, address and contact details. This information is collected for purposes of relationship management and to enables us to communicate with you at that time and in the future.

Should you participate in a competition or promotional feature, complete a survey, or request a programme or any other information from us, we will also ask for certain information.

In some instances, we will use personal data to provide entry to inter-club competitions. This is conditional upon the other clubs concerned abiding by the PAGB rules.
As part of our research, we may use your information to contact you for your views on aspects of our Society as well as to occasionally notify you about important changes to our website or programme.
Our means of communication may be by post, telephone or email via Google Groups.
Should you decide that you no longer wish to receive any further communications from Bromsgrove Photographic Society, please let us know by telephone, letter or email.

Bromsgrove Photographic Society makes every effort to secure your information and maintain your confidentiality.

Whilst browsing the Bromsgrove Photographic Society website you can use the details that can be found under Information/BPS Documents/Committee Members Chart & Email addresses, to contact us by email. The mailboxes are not monitored daily.
